Investigations have been launched into an incident where suspected thugs broke into the administration block at Rambo primary school in Alego/Usonga sub-county before abducting the watchman last night.

According to the school’s head teacher Mr. Chrisphine Akelo, the incident was discovered in the morning when they reported to school only to find the office broken into and several items including furniture and several cabinets destroyed.

He has however told Radio Sky that apart from the destruction of those items, nothing was stolen from the administration block adding that the suspected thugs only tore some stationery then left.

Mr. Akelo who confirmed the incident stated that by the time they reported to school, the night guard was not around and could not be found even on phone, a reason for which he was suspected to have been abducted.

The head teacher said however that after several hours of searching, the night guard was found while unconscious several kilometers away at a bush near a place called Kadenge before he was brought back to school.

He stated that the matter was reported to the police who have already launched investigations to ascertain what happened, adding that the night guard will also help with investigations once he has regained his consciousness.
