AIRPORT AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE ROAD TO KOGONY PEOPLE

For a period of 11 years now, there have been wrangles between the residents of Kogony in Kisumu County and the airport authority, as the latter closed the road connecting the Kogony people in Usoma and the ones in Nawa.
Kisumu West member of parliament Hon. John Olago says that he heard his people’s cry and it’s therefore high time that a solution should be found so that the people get a road.
Speaking on behalf of the Airport Authority, Alex Gitare says that the problem was brought about by the increase of water levels in Lake Victoria. Secretary in the ministry of roads Kisumu county Chris Obure said that as a ministry, they are going to get an answer as fast as possible so that the residents get a road.
