St. William learning centre in Otonglo zone, Kisumu West Sub-County has been demolished by the Kenya Railways Authority on claims that it is built next to a railway line.

The director of the school Florence Achieng Owino has cried out that they ought to have been given time to find a suitable place where they could build. The railway authority is said to have demolished the school without consulting the stakeholders, what they say isn’t right since both school and the railway belong to the government.

The teachers, children and even the director therefore urged well-wishers who can chip in to help them build the school to do so.
