Migori County Assembly and Migori County Government Finally Agree on 2021/2022 Budget

The tussle that was between the Migori County Assembly and the County Government concerning the budget that brought about division has now been settled. Speaking to journalists after solving the division between the assembly and the county government, the assembly speaker Boaz Okoth who was accompanied by the CEC Finance Scholastika Obiero, said that they had few differences that have finally been solved to ensure that the financial year 2021/2022 is approved and they are hoping to get funds soon.

His words were echoed by the CEC Finance Scholastica Obiero who said that despite the fact that they had differences, she is happy now that things are going to be better.

The differences on the Migori County 2021/2022 budget was witnessed after the county assembly passed the budget one month ago. Being that the tussle is now solved, it is believed that salaries will now be paid and activities that stopped will now resume.
