The Council of Governors (CoG) is being urged to work hand in hand with medical practitioners since that is the only way that will ensure that Kenyans get better healthcare.

This is a request that has been put across by the Secretary General of the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union (KMPDU) Dr. Dajvi Bhimji Atellah who was speaking to journalists in Kisumu.

He said that their are some counties that do not respect medical practitioners, as he gave an example Laikipia and Kirinyaga Counties as he added that them on their side they have been working so hard since Covid-19 hit the country.

He finished by highlighting the miseries that doctors have been undergoing at the Kenyatta National Hospital as he warned the leadership of the hospital that they will be forced to hold a demostration o that their plights can be heard and taken into consideration and a better working environment is provided for medical practitioners at the hospital.
