Traders who were sent away from Kibuye market two years ago can now smile as they will return to their trading point in November this year. This has been confirmed by the Kisumu City Board Chairman Elijah Adul who said that the construction of the market is almost done. He said the construction is 60% complete and in the next two months, the traders will be moved back to the market.

The traders were moved out of the market after covid-19 came into the country where the county government of Kisumu started the construction of the market one year later.

Adul who led members of the board while they went to inspect the progress of the construction said that the construction is going to be of high standards since Kibuye is a popular market and traders should not do business in a dirty place.

He went ahead to say that the market is going to accomodate 2000 traders who have now been hovering around without any trading place.
