Fish Farmers Get Boost

Fish farmers in Kisumu County have been given tools for building fishponds and rearing fish. This has been done through a project known as aquaculture business development program in an event that was done at Ahero Vocational Training Centre in Nyando sub-county.

The event was presided over by the fisheries principal secretary Dr. Francis Owino who praised the county government for having a better plan concerning fish farming.

The Deputy Governor Dr. Mathews Owili who represented the Governor Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o in the event told the farmers to use this opportunity to make money that will help change their lives.
