ODM Leaders Blamed for Not Welcoming Jimmy Wanjigi

Kisumu County ODM leaders have been blamed for not giving a befeating reception to business tycoon Jimmy Wanjigi when he started his four day tour in Nyanza region. Wanjigi is an ODM member and failing to welcome him by ODM leaders is said to be portraying a bad picture to other tribes who ODM leader Raila Oding is touring their areas seeking support.

Nyanza region Jubilee Party chairperson Zuberi Odhiambo Liete said that it is not in order since even Raila Odinga is visiting other places seeking support and he is alwyas given warm welcome.

Zuberi said that at this time that Raila is preaching ‘Azimio la Umoja’, it will be right if the Nyanza region moreso the ODM leaders to welcome all visitors who visit them in the right way.

He finished by requesting Kisumu County ODM chairperson Prof. Ayiecho Olweny not to accept such acts in future since they will only make Odinga loose votes due to bitterness from residents of other communities.
