Parents from Kisumu county have been urged to take their children to technical institutes as way of reducing unemployment in the country since there is a reduction in the number of people doing technical jobs.

This is a request that has been put across by Sianda Vocational Centre principal Eunice Akinyi. She has explained that due to living standards that have been harsh to parents made the county government of Kisumu to start paying for students in vocational training institutes and therefore parents should take an advantage of this since the fees is paid for all students from the county.

He finished by urging all students from Kisumu West to enroll in the institutes to get training that will later help there lives.
