Curbing Bondo Insecurity

Security department in Bondo sub-county have set up a committee that will deal with insecurity in the sub-county moreso along the beaches and in the mining sites.
The committee comprises local security, police, Beach Management Unit chairpersons, politicians and netizens will work together to ensure that insecurity reports gets to the relevant departments and the perpetrators face the law.
In a meeting led by Bondo Deputy County Commissioner Richard Karani, the committee agreed to ease communication to help locals to give any report to the police. The meeting was held in Nango market in Central Sakwa where the market chairperson John Nyakiti Agola condemned the increase in insecurity and robbery while people know the people involved but they don’t give report to the police.
The Deputy County Commissioner said that citizens should continue following Covid-19 containment measures and mining site owners to ensure that their workers put on face masks all the time.
He promised to ensure that robbery and insecurity ends in the sub-county and traders do their businesses without fear as he added that he has given 35 days of ensuring that all illicit alcohol breweries are closed and also pubs operating against the law.
