Form Three Student Drowns in River Nyando

A family in Mitando village, Kore sub-location, Muhoroni sub-county are in great pain after one of them died. The boy who is a form three student lost his life after he was swept and drowned in river Nyando where he went to mine sand.

The boy’s mother Beatrice Atieno and her co-wife Joyce Atieno Odhiambo have requested those living around the river to help them search for the body of the boy. Walter Okoth who is also a member of the family thanked those who have come out so far to assist them in searching for the body, as he urged them not to get tired but continue assisting them till they find the body.
