Man Stabbed to Death in a Bar in Homabay

Police in Homabay county are in search of a suspect that stabbed and killed a 25 year old man on Sunday night.
The man by the name Roy Otieno was heavily injured after the suspect stabbed in his stomach using a knife while they were arguing in a bar, where he was later rushed to Homabay County Referral hospital, but died while receiving treatment.

According to the area chief Mr. Joshua Ochogo, the deceased Roy Otieno was stabbed whilst trying to separate two men who were fighting before he met his untimely death.

Mr Joshua went ahead to say that the suspect fled the scene after committing the act and as of yesterday evening a suspected accomplice was caught in Mongowore area in Shauri Yako where netizens said that he was also an accomplice of the run away suspect. He was later on rescued by the police from the angry mob who were thirsty for his blood.
