Family Requests the Government to Help Them Retrieve the body of Their Kin who Drowned in River Migori

The family of two students who drowned in River Migori yesterday are now asking the National and the county government of Migori through the disaster management department to come out and help them retrieve the bodies of those students.
Led by the family spokesperson Emmanuel Majiwa, said that since the incident happened yesterday, there is no leader who has reached out to them. He said that the two children had gone for a church service in Nyabisawa before they were swept by water in river Migori.
Majiwa said that the two students were studying in Moche secondary school in Suna West sub-county, one aged 14 years was in form one, as the other one aged 18 years was in form four.
he requested that they be assisted with divers and also food for the families who are still stuck at the shores of the river till now.
