Residents Decry Poor Road Conditions

Some of the traders and travellers plying the Kadongo-Mawego road have shown their dissapointment following accidents that have been caused by the poor state of the road.
Speaking to Sky FM at the road’s blackspot, led by Samwel Achila, they decried the poor state of the road, as they said that the state of the road which is still under construction has been putting the lives of travellers at risk, as he added that the equipment being used by the contractors are scattered all over the road and are causing accidents to road users.
They said that one person has lost his life following the state of the road, as another bodaboda man lost his teeth and died on the spot and also a driver who almost lost his life on the same road.
They urged the government to remove the materials from the road so that they can avoid accidents that are rampant on the road.
