Learning Paralyzed After Students’ Demonstration

Learning in Kilusi secondary school in Rachuonyo East sub-county were cut short yesterday after students conducted demonstrations over poor leadership in the school.

Speaking to Sky FM during the demonstrations which they conducted to the office of the sub-county director of education in Ramula Migosi Mr. Samwel Nyantika, the students said that they are not happy with the way BOM teachers are carrying out their activities, as they said that they are being mistreated by those teachers as they also complained about the leadership of the school principal Mr. Silas Agira.

The form four students requested the Cabinet Secretary for Education Prof. George Magoha to transfer the principal. The sub-county director of education samwel Nyantika on his side told the students to be patient as they are going to discuss their concerns.
