Voter Registration Mobilization

Elected leaders and those seeking elective positions in Homabay county have been urged to unite and ensure that their constituents register as voters before the deadline for the process elapses.

Speaking to journalists in Homabay town during a meeting that she held with the leaders, Hon. Ruth Adhiambo Odinga who is the Nyanza voter registration mobilization coordinator told Homabay residents to come out and register as voters in large numbers since this is the best opportunity for ODM leader Raila Odinga to become the president of Kenya.

She added that the Luo nation should continue registering as voters in preparation for next year’s general elections since other communities have already come out to support Raila Odinga in his race to the statehouse next year.
