Hyena Infestation

Residents of Kodera North location in Rachuonyo South sub-county have decried he infestation by hyenas that have been killing their livestock in the area.

Led by David Kouko are urging the Kenya Wildlife Service to come to their rescue since the hyenas are slowly sending them to poverty.

Speaking to Sky FM, Kouko said that three hyenas appeared at Mzee Adipo Benson’s homestead and killed two sheep. One of the hyenas that was inside the cow shed was blocked and killed by villagers as the other two escaped.

Mzee Benson Adipo on his end said that the hyenas have made his life unbearable sincethey have turned his home into their resting point and he therefore urged KWS to come to their rescue.
