TWO BOYS HOSPITALIZED AFTER A FIRE INCIDENT AT RINGA BOYS

Two students at Ringa Boys High School have been hospitalized after suffocating in a fire incident that burnt down their school dormitory early this morning. The fire is said to have started at around 5am when the students were in their classes for morning preps.

Confirming the incident, Homabay County Commissioner Moses Lilan said the two students were rushed to Hawi Family Hospital in Oyugis and are undergoing treatment. He went futher and said the domitory that was razed down hosts 350 students and 325 students managed to escape, they rushed out before the fire spread.

The County Commissioner concluded by saying investigations are going on to determine what might have caused the fire. This has happened barely one and a half months after the school experienced the same incident.
