ODM WAS NOT PART OF KONDELE CHAOS

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has been linked to yesterday’s chaos that occurred during Deputy President William Ruto’s visit in Kondele Kisumu County.
The claim has been circulating on social media and condemned by several Kenyans accusing ODM party leaders for orchestrating the chaos.
Speaking on behalf of the ODM party, the party leader Raila Odinga, has distanced himself and his party from the chaos that erupted at D P Ruto’s Kondele rally on Wednesday.
The former Prime Minister said that the DP, like any other Kenyan, is free to travel and sell his ideologies to the electorate anywhere in the country during an interview with one of the media house.
The ODM leader also said that, prior to the DP’s visit, the ODM Kisumu branch had issued a statement saying that the second-in-command was free to visit and endear himself to the voters.
Raila also mentioned that several theories had been proposed to explain the chaos, including claims that the running battles were caused by a disagreement over handouts.
