30 YEAR OLD DEFILEMENT SUSPECT IN POLICE CUSTODY

Police officers in Rangwe sub-county have finally arrested a 30 year old man who went missing after he allegedly defiled a 4 year old child in Kabonyo village, Genga sub-location two weeks ago.

The suspect who has been identified as Victor Onyango run after defiling a minor. He was arrested in Rongo sub-county, Migori county on Sunday evening when he was performing his duties as usual.

According to the assistant Chief Genga sub-location  Chrispin Onyango,  the suspect grabbed the child along the road and dragged her  to a nearby sugarcane plantation where he defiled her. He left the minor unconscious and ran away. He further said the suspect is in police custody as further investigations are still ongoing before he is taken to court. Chief Onyango urged parents to always check their children’s whereabouts and take care of them to help prevent such incidents.
