Cervical Cancer

In a move to reduce or fight cervical cancer, the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) has been urged to come up with how NHIF can be used in cancer treatment. This is to help the cancer patients get treatment easily.

This is a request that has been put across by the Kisumu County first lady Dorothy Nyong’o while she was speaking at an event organized to device how to end cancer in the country, an event that was organized at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital.

The Conty governor Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o applauded health workers who have been looking after cancer patients as he urged them to continue with the same spirit.
