WATER AND SANITATION PROJECT IN HOMABAY TOWN

Residents of Homabay town have been promised that water shortage in the town will come to an end early next year following the project that is being put in place supply water across the town, an initiative that has already taken Ksh. 1.2 billion.
Speaking to journalists in Homabay, after Water and Sanitation Partners Conference that brought together different officials from Homabay Water and Sewerage Company (HOMAWASCO) and those from the County government specifically from the ministry of waters, HOMAWASCO director Evance Nyagol said that they organized the three days conference to access how the two water points which include Shauri Yako and Got Asego that both produce more than eight million litres will be supplied to people across the town after finding someone who will sponsor them with pipes.
