Venture in Farming and Stop Relying on Handouts

Residents of East Kamagak ward in Kabondo Kasipul constituency, Homabay county have been urged to concentrate on farming as that is the only sure way of eradicating poverty. They have been told to refrain from relying on handouts from politicians more so at this time when the country is heading to the general elections.

This is a request that has been put across by Hon. Ogwe Oyando who is eyeing the East Kamagak MCA seat as he told the locals to always work hard in their farms to make produce that will help them in their lives in the near future since the handouts from politicians cannot sustain them even for a day.

He went ahead to urge the residents to take their time and plant trees since trees help in conserving the environment by trapping rainfall and cleaning the atmosphere.
