Ototo Secondary School in Ndhiwa sub-county was closed indefinitely after form four students became chaotic while taking their exams. It was revealed that the students started making noise and destroying classroom windows and also destroying the principal’s car before the school management resolved to send them home.
Confirming the incident, Ndhiwa sub-county police commander Paul Rioba said that his office was informed that the students had to be sent home to avoid destruction of more properties. The strike started on Wednesday evening when a section of the students rejected the punishing of one of them by the principal.
Koguta location chief George Onyango said that issues started after the said student arrived in school and refused to do as he was directed by the principal.
