Traders who were displaced from Kibuye market in Kisumu County can now smile. This is because the construction of the market will elapse by the end of March next year. This was affirmed by the Kisumu City manager Abala Wanga who was speaking to traders at the Corona market, where he said that they were restrained by construction laws but they have sorted everything and the construction will resume again very soon.
He went ahead to say that Kibuye market hosts a huge number of traders and it also gives the county huge revenue on a monthly basis. He finished by urging all traders to keep calm all the time since the market is going to be built to higher standards.
