Spiritual leaders, civil servants and youths in Homabay town sub-county have been urged to come out and mobilize people to register as voters for those who haven’t. This is as a result of low numbers of people who registered as voters in the sub-county during the first phase of voter registration.

This is a request that has been put across by the officer in charge of voter registration in the sub-county Thomas K’ogolla who said that in the first phase, they only managed to register 25% of their target.

He therefore urged church leaders, civil servants and youths to urge people to come out in large numbers and register as voters to ensure that they meet their target.
