Finally, the County Assembly of Homabay found a new clerk after Faith Adhiambo Apuko officially took oath of office today.

The swearing in that was led by Homabay Law Courts Senior Magistrate Tom Orlando at the County Assembly left Faith as the clerk of the County Assembly. This comes after the former clerk resigned due to disagreements with the speaker Elizabeth Ayoo.

The swearing in was attended by some of the MCAs of the assembly including Julius Gaya-Central Karachuonyo, Martin Ouma Ogindo-Kwabwai, Joan Ogada-Kojwach among others.

Faith has also been the acting clerk of the assembly for the past seven months since the former clerk resigned. The MCAs present congratulated her for the services she has rendered as they wished her the best in what she is yet to deliver.
