ODM Should Conduct Free And Fair Nominations
Written by Moses Omollo on February 18, 2022
The ODM party has been urged to make sure that they conduct free and fair nominations ahead of August elections. This is a request that was put across by former Nyatike MP Edick Omondi Anyanga who urged the party and the whole Azimio la Umoja brigade to stop using few individuals and sending them to the grassroot moreso Migori county to choose where nominations will be conducted.
Anyanga says that that such act can negatively affect ODM leader Raila Odinga in his quest to become the fifth president of the country. he said that it can instill fear on other aspirants as he urged the party to also release the list of the people who will be voting in the party nominations.
His sentiments are coming just three days after the Azimio la Umoja brigade visited Migori county to campaign for Raila Odinga to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
