Kisumu County ODM Leaders Warned

Some of the ODM party members in Kisumu Count who are supporters of one of the gubernatorial aspirants Ken Obura have condemn the County ODM leaders who have been saying that Ken Obura is not a member of the party and he is planning to cause chaos during the major Azimio la Umoja rally that is scheduled on Friday 11th March in Kisumu County.

Former Kondele ward MCA Gabriel Ochieng dismissed words uttered by Kisumu county ODM chair Ayiecho Olweny and his Kisumu Central counterpart Seth Kanga that Obura is not an ODM member, as he dared the two to provide evidence that Obura left the party, as he urged the DCI to summon the two leaders for claiming that Obura is planning chaos in the Azimio rally.

His words were echoed by one of the youths under the Kisumu County Youth Council Umbrella Maurice Ochieng who urged Kisumu County ODM leaders to concentrate on party leader Raila Odinga’s quest to become the fifth president of Kenya and refrain from brewing hatred between aspirants and constituents.

One of the traders at the Kisumu bus park who said that the leaders might erupt chaos through their utterances though as traders, they do not need chaos since it prevents development. He finished by stating that they have the right to support any aspirant and therefore as supporters of Ken Obura, they won’t allow their candidate’s name to be tainted.
