Stop Demonstrations and Support Party’s Move:Homabay Residents Told

The Luo Nation more so those from Homabay County have been urged to keep calm and support the decision by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party National Elections Board to issue direct tickets to some of their aspirants.
This a request that was put across by one of the champions of multipartism Mzee Abednego Othira who hails from Kabondo Kasipul. He said that it will be prudent enough for Homabay residents to support Azimio Presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s quest by supporting whom he has already given direct nomination certificates to vie for different posts.
He went ahead to tell the Luo Nation more so in Homabay County who have displayed their dissatisfaction with Raila’s move of having some candidates given direct tickets that even other parties are doing the same yet there are no demonstrations. He beseeched them to refrain from the demonstrations since it only affects development in the region and destroys the name of the Luo community.
He finished by urging them to stop unnecessary anger that they are displaying and support the ODM chief Raila Odinga in his quest to become the fifth president of Kenya.
