Private Schools Ready For Junior Secondary Students

The Kenya Private Schools Association (KPSA) have promised to work hand in hand with the government to ensure that the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) more so the Junior Secondary School is successful.
KPSA chairperson Charles Ochome Owoko said that their main job currently is walking in different counties to urge private schools’ leaders to build extra classes that will handle the junior secondary school lot next year.
He said that by next year, majority of the private schools will be more than ready as he gave an example of of some private schools that have already done the necessary preparations to welcome the junior secondary school.
He finished by thanking the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Education Prof. George Magoha for accepting to work with private schools concerning the transition to junior secondary school as he promised that they are ready to help boost the education sector in the country.
