Over 1400 ECDE Teachers Employed Permanently By Homabay County

A total of 1475 Early Childhood Development Education Teachers in Homabay County can now smile to the bank after governor Cyprian Awiti confirmed them on permanent and pensionable basis.

Speaking to the teachers in his office on Monday, Awiti said that this is a relief to those teachers who have been waiting for the employment contracts for a very long time, as he said that the teachers will now receive their monthly salaries the same way as other Homabay County government employees.

He went ahead to praise the teachers for the work they have been doing as he urged them to continue working diligently.

His sentiments were echoed by the Homabay County Executive Member for Education Akoko Nyaoke.
