IMPOSTER: A Facebook account offering quick loans to the public does not belong to President William Ruto’s daughter Charlene Ruto.

A Facebook account publishing posts claiming that Charlene Ruto is offering loans to the public is an IMPOSTER account.
A Facebook account bearing the name Churlyn Rutto that claims to be that of President William Ruto’s eldest daughter has in many occasions been seen circulating different posts that claims she is offering quick loans to the public.
In one of the posts dated 29th Nov 2022 for example , she allegedly offered a loan of up to 900,000 for grabs in less than 10 minutes with low interest repayment and accessing the loan entailed calling a certain number.

We however did a scrutiny into this claim and can confirm that this is an IMPOSTER account.
In conducting a keyword search for accounts allegedly belonging to Cherlin Ruto, we came across a good number of such accounts and only one verified page that is directly associated with her.

She only has one verified page that currently has over 6,300 followers and in the page Charlene Ruto has not published any information related to offering loans in any manner and this brings a lot of questions on the authenticity of such loans published in the imposter account.

Charlene through the verified page also rebuked imposters for coming up with such accounts that has been tarnishing her name and misleading the public.
In the post dated 19th Oct 2022 , she confirmed that she is aware of the accounts and the public needs to be careful since she is not offering any loans and is not planning to offer any of such assistance to the public.

We would therefore wish to confirm that the above account is an IMPOSTER account created to mislead the public since president Ruto’s daughter Charlene Ruto DO NOT offer any of such loans circulated in the account.
