I won’t be intimidated, I’m ready to lose my seat – Wamuchomba

Githunguri Member of Parliament Gathoni Wamuchomba now says that she isn’t afraid of losing her seat due to her stand on various issues that does not sit well with the government of the day .
Speaking at the Limuru III conference, Wamuchomba claimed she has received a lot of threats which she said won’t intimidate her promising to lead Mt. Kenya people in fighting for their rights .
She said that the former president Uhuru Kenyatta had requested her to fight for the interests of the community without any fear promising to made sure that it happens . She also said that she had reached out to former president Uhuru Kenyatta and asked for forgiveness.
The Githunguri MP further urged Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua to understand that Uhuru Kenyatta is the custodian of the people of Mt Kenya.
“I met Uhuru Kenyatta and sought forgiveness and he requested me to continue fighting for the interest of the region,” she said
Her sentiments were anchored by Starehe MP Amos Mwago noted that the interests of the community are paramount.
He called leaders to unite and speak in one voice.
Other leaders present included former Laikipia Governor Nderitu Muriithi and Jubilee secretary general Jeremiah Kioni among others.
