2 Women Killed In Grisly Accident Along Kisii-Isebania Highway

Two elderly women have died after being involved in a gruesome accident along the Kisii -Isebania highway in Migori town.
The accident happened on Saturday morning opposite Elegant Hotel after a motorbike the two women were traveling on was hit head-on collision by a lorry that was moving in the opposite direction.
Preliminary reports indicate that the lorry was trying to overtake another vehicle on the busy highway when it rammed into the motorbike.
The two women died on the spot while the boda boda rider was injured during the accident.
The survivor was taken to the Migori Referral Hospital in critical condition while the two bodies were taken to the hospital’s mortuary awaiting postmortem.
The police have launched investigations into the accident.
