WOMEN AND YOUTH GROUPS IN HOMABAY TO REGISTER AHEAD OF DEPUTY PRESIDENT’S VISIT TO THE COUNTY

Women, youths and bodaboda riders in Homabay County have been urged to register their different groups before Deputy President William Ruto’s visit to the County. United Democratic Alliance (UDA) chairman Homabay County Hon. Everest Otieno Okambo says that that’s the best way to ensure that they benefit from the goodies that the Deputy President will bring.
Hon. Ruto is set to visit the County in July in a move to strengthen his political muscle in the Nyanza region. Okambo has therefore directed the groups to forward there certificates to the UDA offices in the Sub-counties in preparation for the Deputy President.
He further requested the residents to welcome Ruto with alot of joy as he is the only person who will bring development to them. He further beseached those planning to cause chaos during the visit to be calm and peaceful.
