Politicians from different political divides are urged to embrace tolerance and expand democratic space for the purpose of unity ahead of 2022 general elections in the country.

The supporters of Deputy President Wiliam Ruto in Homa-Bay county say that political tolerance will create a conducive environment for unity and inclusivity ahead of the next polls.

They want DP Ruto to visit Homa-Bay County with goodies like he has been doing in other counties to empower youth and women in the jua-kali sector.

Speaking to the press in Homa-Bay town, Ruto’s supporters say the DP has a right to visit any part of the country despite his political stance and being a competitor of Raila Odinga in the forthcoming presidential contest.

They state that they have a number of proposals and grievances that they want to present to the deputy President to help them tackle some problems facing the region.
