STUDENT COMMITS SUICIDE

A form three student commits suicide at Alara village in South West Kwabwai Location, Ndhiwa Sub County over after disagreeing with his girlfriend over love affairs.

Kelvin Omondi 18,a student at Alara Mixed Secondary school hanged himself using a sisal rope last evening after his girl who is also a form three student at a neighboring secondary school threatened to terminate their relationship.

It’s reported that the deceased disagreed with his girlfriend during their phone conversation and decided to kill himself immediately after the girlfriend informed him of her decision to end their affairs.

Senior chief of South West Kwabwai Location Madam Grace Oguta says that the girl’s mother was against the love affairs between her daughter and the boy and had compelled her to walk out of the premature relationship, a decision that the girl took but angered the boy.

The administrator states that yesterday evening when the two had a phone conversation, the girlfriend informed the deceased of her decision to end the relationship but the boy pleaded with her to stick to their relationship but the girl never gave up.

According to Madam Oguta, the two have had a long-term relationship since their primary school education and the boy was not happy when the girlfriend informed him to end the relationship.

The body of the student was moved this morning to Sori Lakeside mortuary.
