Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leaders have been urged not to be afraid of selling the party agenda. Kisumu Central constituency ODM chairperson Seth Ochieng Kanga has urged the members and the party leaders not to take a back step in speaking about the agenda of the party when they are meeting voters.

Speaking at Dunga beach in Nyalenda B ward, Seth called off some of the party leaders and others who were elected on the party’s ticket who have of late not been straight forward in speaking on the party affairs.

He went ahead to reveal some of the strategies they have put in place to boost the number of people registering as voters in Kisumu County, following the low turn out that have been witnessed since the voter registration process was launched two weeks ago.

Seth who was speaking at the burial of Mzee Atieno Jera who was one of the village elders in Dunga, condemned some of the Luo Nyanza leaders whom he said are giving utterances that may evoke violence or bring division among people ahead of next year’s general elections, where ODM party leader is deemed to be having higher chances of becoming Kenya’s fifth president.
