Let Your Employees Register as Voters

Kisumu County governor Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o has urged employers in the county to give their employees opportunity to go and register as voters.
Speaking to journalists in his office on Tuesday, Nyong’o said that it is remaining only two weeks for the registration process to be closed, yet only a small number of people have registered so far.
He said that most of the employed citizens who don’t have a voter’s card have not yet gotten the chance to register and therefore it is prudent enough for their employers to give them a chance to go and register.
He finished by stating that the more the residents register as voters, the higher the chances of ODM leader Raila Odinga becoming the fifth president of the republic of Kenya. He also said that the elderly should also be assisted in availing themselves at the registration centres.
Kisumu currently is at position 22 in the voter registration process, as the governor said that his aim is to have Kisumu at number one.
