A 45 year Old Man Lynched in Rachuonyo East

Police in Rachuonyo East sub-county are investigating the death of a 45 year old man who was killed and the body burned by the people in Onyunyo village, Rongo Pala sub-location, Wang’ Chieng’ location. The reason for such kind of an act has not yet been revealed.

Confirming the incident to Sky FM, Wang’ Chieng’ location chief Elisha Odiwuor Wadanda said that the act is condemnable and it wasn’t right for the people to kill the man identified as Bonface Orwa even though he has been a nuisance to the community.

Wadanda went ahead to urge citizens to refrain from taking the law into their own hands since there are responsible departments where such cases should be reported so that the matter can be investigated and peace restored. he said that the police have launched investigations to find what could have triggered netizens to kill the man, as he stated that those found guilty will face the wrath of the law.

The man’s body was transferred to Rachuonyo East sub-county hospital mortuary awaiting post mortem.
