Care Centres for Babies

The county government of Kisumu through the office of the first lady Her excellency Dorothy Nyong’o has come up with an initiative that will ensure that mothers who have little kids go to work without any hiccups. This is after opening up a child care centre which will be having nutritionist professionals who will take care of the children whose mothers are working in the county government and those whose mothers are working in different organisations in Kisumu County.

The first lady said that she came up with the initiative after observing how women were having hard time by leaving their children at home or in their houses, as she said that having child care and nutritionist professionals will lead to the children growing up with a strong foundation.

The Kisumu County Executive Committee member in charge of education john Awiti said that the initiative is going to help parents, more so the parents whose children are learning in county ECD centres, as he said that they will do so without so much pay.
