Fire Razes Down a Petrol Station in Bondo

Police officers in Bondo sub-county are investigating the cause of fire that burnt down Carldori petrol station in Bondo town which left one person injured.

The fire that broke out at around 9.30pm after a fuel tanker that took fuel to the station caught fire and burnt down properties of unknown value including motorcycles. The stations director suffered injuries in the process and was taken to Bondo sub-county hospital where he was treated and released to go home.

Bondo sub-county police commander Roseline Chebosho confirmed the incident, promising that they are investigating the incident. Siaya county fire fighters rushed to the scene and put out the fire before it spread.
