Sickle Cell Diagnosis Machine

The Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of Health Dr. Mercy Mwangangi officially launched a machine that will be used in diagnosing sickle cell anaemia. This is to give quick help to those suffering from the disease.

Speaking at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu, Dr. Mwangangi promised that they are going to ensure that they give the necessary help to those suffering from sickle cell anaemia. She said that they will work hand in hand with the county governments to deliver such help.

Speaking at the same event, Kisumu County Deputy Governor Dr. Mathews Owili said that Kisumu County is leading with the number of those suffering from sickle cell anaemia, as he promised that they will do everything possible to ensure that they help them.
