ONE PERSON DEAD IN A ROAD ACCIDENT ALONG RANEN-RONGO ROAD

Police officers in Awendo sub-county are searching for a car that caused an accident on the Ranen-Rongo road that left one person dead yesterday evening. According to Kanyasrega sub-location Assistant Chief Ezekiel Kokeyo, the accident happened yesterday evening, where a person whose identity has not yet been revealed was walking along the road from Jwelu heading to Ranen before a car that was plying the route from Ranen heading to Rongo hit him and he died on the spot.

Chief Ezekiel narrates that after causing the accident, the car drove away leaving the deceased lying at Jwelu centre. The body has been taken to Rapcom Hospital Mortuary in Awendo town as the police continue with the search for the car that caused the accident.
