Two Bodaboda Men Injured in a Road Accident

A road accident has occured along Awendo-Rongo road, leaving two people injured badly. This comes after a probox car which was being chased by police from Uriri police station thinking that it was transporting bhang lost control and caused the accident.

Speaking concerning the accident, Awendo sub-county bodaboda chairman James Owiro said that the probox that was being chased by police is the one that lost control and hit the bodaboda men and left them with injuries.

After causing the accident, the car was arrested and to the contrary, it was found to be carrying only maize, a development that made the police to have hard time in the hands of the bodaboda operators.

The bodaboda men were rushed to Rapcom hospital in Awendo town where they are receiving treatment. Such kind of accident occured four months ago where a probox car that was being chased by police from Awendo police station lost control and killed a bodaboda operator.
