A 45 YEAR OLD MAN KILLED DURING A MARRIAGE CEREMONY IN KURIA EAST.

Police in Kuria East are searching for a middle aged man who stabbed and killed his 45 year old cousin after they differed in thoughts during the a marriage ceremony.

Confirming the incident, Migori County Police Commander Mark Wanjala said that the misunderstanding was clearly witnessed during the ceremony which took place in Nyangira Bosi village in Kuria East .

The man identified as Mourice Owanda Wandahe arrived at the event drunk making his 45year old cousin, Ezekiel Nyamohanga to try cooling him down so that he could not ruin the event. Maurice then pulled out a knife and stabbed the cousin who died on the spot. 

Wanjala said that after stabbing the cousin, he ran off and disappeared and the police in Kuria East are still looking for him. The body of the 45year old was taken to Wimma mortuary in Kuria East as the search for the killer continues.
