Security tight in Awendo ahead of Hon:Raila visit in Awendo.

Security has been enhanced in Migori County following ODM leader Raila Odinga’s visit this morning. Raila is expected in Awendo sub-county this morning, where he will preside over the launching of Awendo Kenya Medical Training College.

Confirming this, Migori police commander Mark Wanjala said that they finished all preparations, as he urged those who will attend the function to observe peace.

his words were echoed by Faith Achieng’ and Elisha opiyo who told Migori residents to come out in large numbers and welcome the ODM boss together with his visitors.

The two leaders who are both eyeing Central kamagambo MCA position in unison requested for peace throughout today’s function.
